Accellos has announced the latest version of Accellos One PerfectPath, its pick path optimization solution for mid-market wholesalers, manufacturers and logistics providers.
Version 1.4 extends the labor saving PerfectPath algorithms by adding support for orders to be grouped and optimized in accordance to zone layout/rules of the warehouse and adding key performance monitoring on the real value being driven through the use of the product.

We have worked with several Accellos One WMS client sites in the past that have reported problems related to insufficient disk space, and in a number of these cases we have found the culprit to be the use of Internet Information Services logging. IIS logging can result in the accumulation of numerous log files and consume a tremendous amount of disk space — up to 18 GB in some reported cases. For this reason, we recommend that IIS logging be turned off by following these steps:
1. In the Internet Information Services window, right-click on Default Website and click Properties.
2. On the Web Site tab of the Properties window, uncheck the Enable Logging checkbox.
3. On the Home Directory tab, uncheck the Log Visits checkbox.
4. Click OK. If a window appears asking to apply to other nodes, click Select All, and then click OK.
The location of the log files is C:\Windows\System32\Logfiles\W3SVC1. We recommend that you purge the log files from this folder if they are using a significant amount of disk space.
If you continue to use IIS logging, you should regularly purge this location as the available space on your C drive will be consumed unnecessarily; and if issues exist in the IIS environment the logs can become very large, very quickly.
